The history of the Landhaus Strobl am See 3*** Superior on Tegernsee
Come and let us make you feel at home in our family-run Landhaus Strobl am See 3*** Superior.
We are running the former “Landhaus Katharina” in the third generation and can look back over more than 85 years of receiving summer vacationers, spa guests and people seeking rest and recreation.
The front house was built in 1930 and operated by Katharina and Hans Ertle as the guesthouse “Landhaus Katharina”.
The guesthouse was taken over by the eldest daughter, Katharina in 1960 and operated by her and her husband, Karl Strobl.
The front house was extended in 1968.
In 1991 the son, Rainer Strobl, took over the guesthouse.
In the winter of 1991/1992 he and his wife Sabine added the second wing and renovated the main house.
The hotel was renamed “Landhaus Strobl am See” in 2006 and in 2007 all of the rooms as well as the breakfast room were completely renovated. Our conservatory with lake view was completed in 2008.
Today the Landhaus is professionally operated by Lisa and Patrick Vogelsang who are supported by a committed team and their family.
We look forward to seeing you!
